Helena and John as Cave People

The cave dwellers have frightened Sandra, but in the dim light she can
still see that the leader of the cave people and his mate look like
Koenig and Russell.

Balor

The tall creature that has lain bloodied and smashed on the operating table
for hours now stands up and peers out of the isolation ward. He wonders
whether or not he is a prisoner.

A landing party fails to return from its
mission. When their Eagle is returned by
remote control to Alpha, only the body of
a Stone Age man ispresent. Koenig and
Helena lead a second landing party but are
separated from the others. Sandra is cap-
tured by cabemen who take her to a cave.
There she becomes the prize in a fight
between the man who found her and the lea-
der of the cavemen. The leader wins the
fight, but Sandra smashes a stone against
the leader's head and escapes. As the
leader's mate comforts him, they begin to
resemble Koenig and Russell! Alan, Berg-
man, and Kano find Koenig lying uncon-
scious, covered with blood. He is near the
edge of a strange mist that Alan deduces
to be the cause of the Alphans' disappear-
ance.

Spearman: OLIVER COTTON
Investigating a passing asteroid, the
Alphans blast into a chamber where they
find a terribly mutilated alien, but when
they arrive back on Alpha the alien's scars
have healed. He is Balor; a scientist
from the planet Progon. He says he was im-
prisoned in the asteroid because he tried
to take the gift of immortality back from
his people when he saw how apathetic they
were becoming. In reality, however, Balor
is a psychopath who loves to cause pain
and destruction. Using his fantastic pow-
ers, the alien tears through Moonbase.
Alpha's only hope is if Koenig can decoy
him into space, but Balor is more power-
ful than Koenig imagines and the Commander
finds his life on the line.

Balor: PETER BOWLES
