Mark IX Hawk Defense Ship

There is no doubt at all. The craft from the alien planet are Mark IX Hawk
defense ships designed and built on Earth. Why are they attacking Alpha?

John Koenig and Dione

Alan is sure Dione's battlecruiser isn't dead, but the alien commander assures
the Alphans that it is. However Dione is not one to be underestimated.

In space, nothing is as it seems, some-
times. From a nearby planet, light years
from Earth, comes a fleet of Mark IX Hawk
Warships. They attack Alpha, leaving it
devastated. Only 170 Alphans reamain alive,
but the base is no longer operational.
Helena and Koenig fly to the planet to
plea for help, but Helena is captured.
Escaping, Koenig transfers to a laser-equip-
ped Eagle with Alan and prepares to invade
the planet using force. Their Eagle is
destroyed on impact with a force field
and Alan is killed. Koenig, however, is
teleported back to the planet. In blind
rage, he sets off a chain reaction that
all but destroys the planet. Koenig finds
Helena amidst the wreckage of the alien
civilization. The Eagles, waiting in space
with all the Alphans aboard, are or-
dered back. "If you're gonna die," Koenig
tells them, "you might as well die on
Alpha."

Male Alien: ANTHONY VALENTINE
Female Alien: ISLA BLAIR
Alpha becomes a pawn in an interplanetary
war when it comes between two planets on
the opposite sides of their sun. The Moon-
base defense systems are useless as a
gigantic alien battle cruiser uses the
lunar surface as a ready-made gun plat-
form. Suddenly, missiles from the other
planet apparently destroy the battle cruis-
er, but a small escape craft makes its
way to Alpha. Aboard is Dione, the com-
mander of the craft from the planet Betha.
Koenig attemps to negotiate a cease-fire
agreement between Betha and Delta. The
war leaders agree, but the cunning Dione
has been underestimated. Her ship is fully
operational and she intends to win the war
even though Alpha has been marked for des-
truction if the cease-fire ends.
