The Moon is approaching Terra Nova which seems the perfect place to settle --
uninhabited and earthlike, with abundant resources. Alpha loses contact with
the Eagle sent to recon the planet, and when they retrieve it there is an
extra passenger, Dr. Russell's husband who was thought killed on a space
mission 5 years prior. Lee Russell dies shortly after arriving on Alpha,
but not before warning the Alphans against settling the planet.

Terra Nova appears to be a tropical paradise with clear water and lush
vegetation making the Alphans wonder what Lee Russell was warning them
against.
