Script To Screen

The Rules Of Luton

The Rules Of Luton was written by producer Fred Freiberger under the pen-name of Charles Woodgrove. It was written as a double-up script, to be filmed simultaneously with The Mark Of Archanon. While Barbara Bain and the other cast filmed at Pinewood, this episode would be filmed a separate crew on location, so two episodes could be completed in the time of one.

The opening scenes of Act One were scripted to be filmed in a cave, but as real caves were in short supply on location it was rewritten to take place in the open.
