Script To Screen

Devil's Moon script

In this scene, Koenig is rescued from the alien prisoners by Elizia and her prison guards. The dialogue as Koenig is escorted through the corridors was problematic; Martin Landau's script is scrawled "Come on!?!" and suggests different lines. In the event, all the dialogue from the start of scene 83 was dropped, the scene starting with Koenig's line "If you'll permit me, I'd like to contact my base. Have someone come and pick me up." This causes a slight continuity error. A few scenes later, Elizia remarks to Koenig "You said it was not in your character to commit violence." In fact, because the line was deleted, he never says this on screen.
