The Production GuideMost of the Alpha sets were on Pinewood stage L; most alien sets were on stage M. Occasionally other stages at Pinewood were used, such as the North Tunnel and stage H.
A few episodes used location filming, on the Pinewood backlot, nearby Black Park, and a landfill site in Knowl Hill.
In Year 1, the only standing set was Main Mission/Koenig's office. All other Alpha sets would be broken down and reassembled each episode. The travel tubes, corridors and Eagle interiors plus several Alpha sets would often be found on different stages.
In Year 2, more standing sets were built around the corridor set. Some of the standing sets were revamped as other rooms during the series, as the Command Office set had been for a few year 1 episodes.
