Anglia

Anglia was based in Norwich and served the east of England. They began showing Space: 1999 Saturday 6th September 1975 at 5.50, simultaneously with LWT. After Christmas they diverged, but exact episodes are uncertain. The final five episodes were shown in August on Sundays.

Year One (repeat, 1976)

Unlike LWT and ATV Midlands, which both showed Years One and Two before starting repeats, Anglia launched into repeats of Year One just a month after the initial run finished. Year Two would not follow until summer 1977. The strange order put Breakaway as the 13th episode. Episodes before Christmas had two commercial breaks (as normal); after Christmas there was just one break.

Year Two (repeat, 1978)

The first half of Year Two was repeated in summer 1978 as school holiday fillers, twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. They were without commercial breaks and the three episodes edited the previous year, were shown complete this time. The run kicked off just three days after LWT began their repeats of Year Two. There were two other odd episodes in 1978, one an unscheduled replacement, before the final episodes appeared on Sunday afternoons in summer 1979. Two episodes had series one "bumpers". The first five only had one commercial break (afterwards, there were two).
