Moonbase Alpha is approaching a possibly habitable planets. Investigation
of the planet, Ellna, shows cities and transport systems, but no life forms.
All life on the planet has been wiped out by a nerve bacteria which fortunately
does not affect the Alphans. A penal colony is found on the planet's satellite,
Entra; the leaders of the colony have not told the others of the plague on
Ellna. The Entrans take Commander Koenig prisoner and convince the Alphans
that he is dead.
