An alien being, Magus, appears on Moonbase Alpha, claiming to be G-d, the creator
of mankind. He offers the Alphans what he has offered no other of his creations
-- a second chance. He has created a planet for them, New Earth, and invites
selected Alphans to explore it. When they arrive at the planet, they are
deposited in a lush glade, Garden of Eden, Mark II. But what secret is Magus
hiding that they are not allowed to leave the glade?
