Pennell worked on many Gerry Anderson productions, including Captain Scarlet and The Mysterons (1967), the film Thunderbird 6 (1968), UFO (1969) and The Protectors (1972). He was also sound editor or dubbing editor for Star Maidens (1976), Superman (1978), Blade Runner (1982), The Hunger (1983), Highlander (1986), The Fisher King (1991), Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet (1996) and Love's Labour's Lost, and Seven Years in Tibet (1997)

Born 1937, died 2015. Music editor for several ITC series including The Champions (1968), Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) (1969), The Protectors (1972), Return of the Saint (1978), Das Boot (1981), The Professionals (1977-1982). Nominated for BAFTA Best Film Sound 1983 for Harry's Game.
