This is a "real working commlock" sold on Ebay in 2009, thanks to Gordon Moriguchi. It was made by an Italian named Michele Possanza. The "real working part" is an electronic picture frame (1.5" CSTN- a form of colour LCD screen) that can show jpeg and bmp format images, as stills or slideshows. It has a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels, and 65k colours. It can store up to 143 images. The first 3 numeric buttons (1,2,3) are functional, handling all the available functions, also including clock, calendar and LCD contrast. It connects to a computer with a USB lead and has a rechargeable lithium battery. There is a YouTube video of the prop in use.
The working commlock alongside the CY Productions commlock, and the Propmaker stun gun.
