BARRY MORSE JOINS LANDAU, BAIN
AS STARS OF ITC'S "SPACE:1999"
Barry Morse has been signed for a starring role in Independent Television Corporation's new science-fiction series, SPACE: 1999, it was announced today by Abe Mandell, president of ITC.
In the series, Mr. Morse will have the continuing role of Professor Bergman, the scientist whose work is largely responsible for the spectacular space voyage depicted in the series, which stars Martin Landau and Barbara Bain.
Mr. Morse, a veteran of television, motion pictures and the stage, is best known to American audiences for his roles "The Fugitive," "The Adventurer," "Dr. Kildare," "Wagon Train," "The Saint" and many other series. He is soon to be seen co-starring with Brian Keith, Mills and Lilli Palmer in "The Zoo Gang," also by ITC, for the NBC-TV network.
