After being blown out of Earth orbit, the Moon suffered trials that must have further scarred it's cratered surface. It was swallowed by a black hole, nearly captured into orbit by numerous planets, crushed under foam, collided with one planet, smothered in foam, hit by shockwaves, collided with another moon, bombarded with heat, sucked through space warps, and repeatedly stopped dead in space. Plus numerous spaceships crashing and explosions of nuclear waste.
