SpaceCon 8

The SpaceCon 8 convention was held in Arlington, Virginia, USA, on 19-21st July 1985. This was the second convention without any Space:1999 guests (after 1983). The guests were Frank Ashmore (who had recently appeared in the mini-series V) and his then wife Shannon (who was assistant to writer-director-producer Ken Johnson, and later became a casting director). Robert Colbert (who starred in the 1960s series The Time Tunnel) did not appear. The booklet was 15 pages single-sided, and the cover reflected the V/Time Tunnel focus.

Following US conventions (1986, 1987, 1989, 1992, 1995, 1997) did not have convention books; the next was 1999.
