The 7.5cm long friction-drive toy takes the green colour, red engine bottles and framework pattern from the Dinky Eagle Transporter. There were two variations- this one with a yellow pod and red "Space 1999" sticker, and another with a white pod and black sticker (see below).
This is one of the variations of the Year 1 artwork design, of which there were at least three. One of these features the pink lunar base seen here (another has the Moonbase Alpha photo seen in the Year 2 packaging seen below). The Eagle could be facing either direction, but to the left seems most frequent.

The base card includes a cut-out crater like the pink artwork craters, but it uses a photo of Moonbase Alpha, severely cropped and with a strong greenish hue.
