This was a re-release of the UK Carlton DVDs with English soundtrack and Finish subtitles. The first series is split into 2 volumes, with 12 episodes on each.

This video release is titled "Moonbase Alpha". The original name of the series was Avaruusasema Alfa ("Space-station Alpha").

Although the two volumes only have year 1 episodes (not in production order), the cover art is from the Chantrell poster art for Destination Moonbase Alpha and there are several year 2 photos on the back.
