Last Enemy Missile

This is a missile from The Last Enemy. The model was built by Martin Bower and is approximately 18 inches/ 45cm long. It has a gas pipe, concealed in black velvet, for the practical rocket flame. It is the only example in the series of a practical flame used for rockets (the normal technique is freon). The nose is a capsule from The Last Sunset, repainted and attached to a salt cellar, EMA pipe and kit parts, including Airfix Saturn V rockets.
