The Production Guide
The script for The Bringers Of Wonder is dated 23rd June 1976. Filming began on Wednesday August 25th and lasted 23 days (including 3 days filming of additional scenes for The Beta Cloud). The scene below is from near the end of part one, as Sandstrom attacks Tony and Maya. Maya's transformation changed from script to screen; in the script she transforms into a python.

103 CONTD. (103)
Her first coil twists itself around SANDSTROM's gun arm.
SANDSTROM, very strong, starts to struggle desperately.
104 INT. MEDICAL CENTER 104
The lights are dim. KOENIG lies sedated.
We first hear a dreadful, jelly-like sucking noise then
into shot shuffles a blurred obscenity of a shape of
the kind we have just seen out on moon surface, an
alien.
It moves painfully slowly and with extreme difficulty
towards KOENIG.
CLOSE ON KOENIG
He lies there oblivious.
CLOSE ON ALIEN
So close that all we see is a kind of glistening, cell-
like, heaving structure, as of something seen under a
microscope.
105 INT. CORRIDOR 105
The fight between SANDSTROM and MAYA/PYTHON is now in
its final stages.
MAYA/PYTHON has SANDSTROM completely enmeshed in her
coils and a final loop curls around his throat, choking
him into unconsciousness.
CLOSE ON TONY
His eyes open.
HIS P.O.V.
MAYA has changed back into herself and is examining the
unconscious SANDSTROM.
FULL SHOT
TONY
Maya...
MAYA turns to TONY and moves towards him.
