Magus with Helena, Maya, Tony and John

"You are my new Adams, my new Eves," Magus tells the hapless Alphans. "I am
your Lord and Creator. You must put trust in me." They soon learn differently.

Brian the Brain in Command Center

No one know quite what to make of the funny little box that rolls around
Command Center whistling at the girls. He calls himself Brian and claims to
be part of an Earth space mission.

Dressed in flowing robes and looking like
a vision from the Old Testament, Magus
arrives in Command Center amidst a flash
of multi-colored lights. He claims to be
the Creator and is ready to give the
Alphans a second chance for life. He
takes Koenig, Helena, Tony and Maya to a
small planet he refers to as "Eden Mark
II." He plans to rebuild the human race
on this world using the Alphans as Adam
and Eve. But Magus is revealed as a crea-
ture who wants to "create" the perfect
race. The nights are filled with the
horrid cries of the mutated failures of
his earlier attempts with other races. The
four Alphans desperately search for a way
to defeat Magus before they too end up as
failed attempts.

Magus: GUY ROLFE

John and Helena
At first, the sight of a Swift Support
Vehicle from Earth brings joy to the
Alphans, but good cheer becomes puzzle-
ment when the pilot of the spaceship
turns out to be a robot! The machine is
named Brian. It recounts the story of how
its creator call it "The Brain," but
the machine mispronounced it as "Brian."
Brian explains that he was created to aid
in the piloting of the craft by the com-
mander of the space mission, Captain
Michael. Brian, however, cannot explain
how the Mother Ship and her Swift Support
Vehicles ended up so far away from Earth.
All he can tell them is that the ships
crashed on the mysterious planet M. The
seemingly friendly machine reverses its
behavior and kidnaps Koenig and Helena.
Because it cannot move on rough surfaces,
it needs Koenig to bring the nuclear fuel
cell that will extend its robotic life
from the mothership stranded on the near-
by planet M. The path to the mothership
is littered with the dead bodies of the
ship's crew. Fearing his creator would
destroy him on the completion of a new Brain,
Brian killed the crewmen. Maya, who
reached the planet with Tony, boards the
Swift as a mouse in Koenig's pocket.
Somehow they must confuse the robot to
the point of inaction, but how can you
drive a robot mad?
