In The Bringers Of Wonder part 2, Alan and Ehrlich are putting nuclear fuel in a moonbuggy. We also see that in their imagination they are on Earth, loading up a dune buggy with picnic bags. Their girlfriends wait in the back of the buggy. These are behind the scenes shots of that sequence.
The shots were filmed in front of the South Lodge, a ground-keeper's cottage by a secondary entrance to the estate that forms Pinewood Studios. An unpaved path, South Lodge Lane, winds through the woods behind the Heatherden Hall gardens and ponds. The buggy drives up this lane. The vehicle is a Meyers Manx dune buggy, produced between 1965-1971, with the UK registration number LPM 355.
It was obviously not that warm in September 1976- Jeanie has a sweater over her shoulders in some shots, and the crew wear warm coats.
