Space 1999 Catacombs Space City Images

This short film was made for the Space City exhibition in Blackpool, UK, which ran from 1977 to 1981. The 2 minute film was shown on a monitor in a continuous loop.

The film is made up entirely of clips, mostly special effects, with authentic sound effects but no music. The Moonbuggy shots are from Space Warp, the alien ship from The Dorcons.

The narration begins Red Alert. All crew to action stations. Alien craft on attack course. Seek and destroy. After the Eagle launches and the Dorcon ship is destroyed it concludes Mission achieved. Returning to base.
