The Space Warp detector (also seen in Devil's Planet and The Lambda Factor). For some reason the alien device has Arabic numbers on it: 26634 45

The prop is made from Osma brand push-fit plastic plumbing pipes. The main cylinder is marked "OSMA 100mm S590" (upside down), the junction caps are "OSMA Z286", the neck is "OSMA 595".

There is an electrical lead at the bottom. There are coloured gels over the "eye-pieces". In the episode there is a light inside which changes colour, seen faintly over Tony's eyes (in the script "A faint blue light flicks across his face. Then the light turns to red.")
