Script To Screen

For each day of filming, a call sheet was prepared for actors and crew by the assistant director. The actors were told when they had to be present for make-up and on set, while each studio department knew what to prepare for filming, including catering for tea breaks.

As this call sheet makes clear, the shots of Fraser on the T.V. Monitor were filmed with a video camera just off the Command Center set, not on the Eagle pilot section set. The art department had to prepare a gray "flat" (false wall) behind Fraser, while the prop department supplied the head-rest and seat belt from the Eagle seat.
