The Seance Spectre

Before shooting, one short scene between Koenig and Helena was deleted. Landau's comment on the script page indicates he objected; the scene was restored, although Helena was seen on a monitor screen, not in Command Center. It was filmed on October 21st 1976. Scenes showing Tony and Alan supervising the evacuation were scrapped.

HELENA

Is it really worth taking all
this with us?

KOENIG

If we fail to shift the moon
off course those Eagles will
become our only home.

HELENA

And how long can we live in a
fleet of space transporters
without cutting each other's
throats?

KOENIG

A lot of Alphans asked that
question when we split away
from Earth.

She smiles.

HELENA

The John Koenig philosophy -
if we've still got chips on the
table, we're still in the game.

It is a quick moment between them.

103 EXT. MOONBASE ALPHA (SFX)

Various shots of Eagle transporters on various launch
pads ... some with a boarding tube locked in, others
with boarding tubes moving into position.

104 INT. TRANSPORTER BOARDING AREA - PAD THREE

This is a simple area, the only distinguishing features
are legends reading: 'EAGLE TRANSPORTER BOARDING AREA -
PAD THREE'. A flashing sign reads: 'BOARDING TUBE
EXTENDED'.

A small group of ALPHANS are moving through the sliding
doors, VERDESCHI is ticking off a check list.

The doors close. VERDESCHI is now alone, he flips on
his commlock.

VERDESCHI

(into comlock)

Alan, I'm at Pad Three ...
last of the personnel going
aboard now. How's it going
at Pad Six?
