Gene Schwam was a Hollywood publicist who was working for the Landaus. Previous letters (29 March 1974, 5 December 1974) were talking about ATV/ITC trying to sell Space: 1999 to a US TV network. By end of January 1975, after over a year of trying, a network sale was looking unlikely. Instead, Schwam is talking up a relationship with ATV, which was probably looking at ITC's The Muppets and Jesus of Nazareth, and other future projects.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Landau
Flat 31, Maida Avenue
London, W. 2, EnglandDear Martin and Barbara:
I have some good news for you and I believe that one way or the other your "SPACE 1999" show definitely will be a huge success, both in the United States and around the world.
I have had some conversations with ATV and am laying the groundwork and developing a formula which would allow for all to be together in future business projects as well as an extension of the present relationship.
I will elaborate further when I see you.
Keep up the good work. Keep the relationship an important one, particularly with Lew Grade and associates and the pay-off will be a major one for you both.
Best regards,
GENE SCHWAM
