A memo from associate producer Frank Sherwin Green to cast and crew, dated 29th September 1976.
General Cinema Corporation was a major US cinema chain which operated from 1935 to 2002. In 1976 they formed a joint company, Associated General Films, with Lew Grade to produce films, but it only lasted a year. The two films were Voyage of the Damned (1976) and Capricorn One (1977); later ITC concentrated on their own titles. Herbert J. Hurwitz was Vice President Theatres, reporting to Richard A. Smith. President and chairman of the board (the spelling is different to the memo). Bernard Kingham was executive in charge of production at ITC Entertainment.
Monday 4th October was day 4 of filming The Lambda Factor, with scenes in Command Center and Medical Center.

FROM PRANK GREEN
SUBJECT "SPACE 1999" - SERIES II
DATE 29th September 1976.
This is to advise you that as from next Monday, 4th October 1976, we shall have the pleasure of the company of Ann Herwitz, daughter of Herb Herwitz, Vice President of the General Cinema Corporation in America, and her friend Debbie, both recently graduated from college.
Their intention is to learn as much as possible about film and television production in this Country and we have been asked by Mr. Bernard Kingham if we would afford them all possible help during their stay with us.
The basic plan is for them to informally meet the cast and members of the unit and then study the workings of various departments.
The Company would be most grateful if you would be as helpful as possible to them.
Thank you.
