Tony and Vomit Monster

The aliens have taken over the minds of the Alphans who believe a rescue party
from Earth has arrived. Koenig is the only one to see them in their true form.

Carter and Ehrlich at the Waste Dome

Alan has no idea that he is actually cutting into a nuclear waste dome. Needing
the raw energy of a fusion explosion to insure their own survival, the aliens
are preventing Carter from seeing what is really happening.

Koenig appears to have gone mad as he
crashes his Eagle near the Nuclear Waste
Domes on the Moon. While he's under medical
observation, Helena hooks him up to a
Brain Impulse Machine in the hope of cur-
ing him. Suddenly, from out of the void,
comes a Superswift bearing the friends
and relatives of the Alphans. They have
come to rescue the castaways. When Koenig
awakens, Helena informs him of the good
news and he races to Command Center. But
his eyes see neither friends nor relatives.
The center is filled with hideous monsters
and on the launch pad he does not see a
Superswift, but a spacecraft of unknown
design. Thinking the brain machine has
failed, Helena sedates the now screaming
Koenig. Guido Verdeschi then announces
that Alan will fly the pilot ship back to
Earth with two members of the nuclear mon-
itoring team. Meanwhile, one of the crea-
tures has entered Medical Center intent
upon killing the Commander.

Helena and Maya enter Medical Center in
time to find Helena's old teacher Dr.
Shaw, near Koenig. He leaves as Koenig
awakens. Koenig tries to convince the
pair that he is sane. At the same time,
Alan and the two men from the monitoring
team believe that they have left Alpha
and are flying to Earth in the pilot ship.
In reality they are aboard an Eagle head-
ing toward the Nuclear Waste Domes. Koenig
convinces Maya to try the Brain Machine
and soon she sees the visitors as they
really are. Transforming herself into one
of them, she learns that the monsters need
the raw energy of the nuclear waste to
survive; they plan to detonate all the
domes. As Carter and the two men approach
the domes with the fusion rod that will
explode the nuclear pile, Koenig races to
the area in a Moon buggy. All hope lies
with Helena--she must find a way to pre-
vent the weakened monsters from tapping
Alpha's energy. If it can be done, they
will be helpless to stop Koenig from in-
terfering.
