In November 1982, Eileen and Phyll were suffering from ill health and announced the club was closing. In December they decided to re-open the club with a more limited one-page newsletter. The next newsletter (March 1983) was a 4-page edition, with no cover; newsletter 24 (summer 1983) was 4 pages plus cover art; later newsletters began to grew to the same size as before.
