THE EXILES

Compare with ITC summary.. According to the summary, the moon's light support system is threatened (not "life support").

Caskets in space! Eerie capsules are discovered encircling Moonbase Alpha and are found to contain 3,000-year-old psychotic killers in a state of suspended animation!

In their perilous journey through deep space, the Alphans have seen many amazing, incredible things but never the likes of the cylinder-shaped objects encircling the moon. Commander John Koenig orders an investigation. A cylinder is recovered, opened and found to contain the frozen body of a young man.

Returned to consciousness, the young alien identifies himself as Cantar and appeals to John to recover the other cylinders and save his people. They are, he says, floating in pairs and family groups, having been cast out by invaders of their planet Golos.

John instructs that the cylinder containing Cantar's beautiful young wife Zova be brought down. But he hesitates in retrieving the others.

John's instincts prove justified. Cantar and Zova, the husband and wife released from their caskets, have devious plans of their own. Cantar and Zova fight their way into the power room of Moonbase Alpha and begin taking over the controls and hold Tony and Helena as hostages.

In a spectacular pulsation of light and sound, Cantar and Zova transmit themselves, along with Helena and Tony, to their home planet Golos, where the truth is revealed.

Cantar and Zova are actually the leaders of a rebel group of psychotic killers cast out for heinous crimes against their people.

With Helena and Tony held hostage with the moon's light support system threatened, the Alphans are in dire peril...

JOURNEY TO WHERE

Compare with ITC summary.

Return to Earth! John, Helena and Alan risk their lives in a neutronic experiment that catapults them through time back into Earth's treacherous past!

Millions of light years away from Earth, Moonbase Alpha receives the most startling communication in its perilous history in space. It is from Texas City, U.S.A., Planet Earth.

A breakthrough in neutronic technology enables the transference of people through space and time. Commander John Koenig, Dr. Helena Russell and Flight Lieutenant Alan Carter are the first of the Alphans to return to Earth. Just as they are readied for transference, an earthquake shakes Texas City and damages the neutronic transference equipment.

John, Helena and Alan are hurled through a timewarp and land on Earth in the year 1339, in Scotland, as the Black Plague ravages the countryside. Besieged by hostile tribesmen, Helena becomes infected and critically ill. All contact is lost between Moonbase Alpha and the victims of the transference. Lost and bewildered, all seems hopeless until Maya, discovering the critical connecting link, unravels the strange and surprising mystery.
