The script for A Matter Of Balance was written by Pip and Jane Baker. Producer Fred Freiberger also acted as story editor, and reworked most scripts. The production notes in this page were almost certainly inserted by him, rather than the original writers. In this scene, Vindrus has taken Shermeen into the temple. Vindrus indicates a steel rod in the cabinets.

KOENIG, MAYA and FRAZER are staring off at the
temple. The THAED is in the b.g. guarding.
MAYA
Obviously she's in there.
FRAZER
How did she get past that
creature?
KOENIG
I don't know.
FRAZER
Even though the tracks lead
in that direction, could be
she never made it inside.
KOENIG
There's one way to find out.
