The end credits lasted 30 seconds. The last shot of the episode was a freeze frame, over which the caption "series created by Gerry & Sylvia Anderson" appeared.
Eight screens of credits followed, over various space scenes.
1. The first screen was the ITC logo with the copyright message. This appeared over a featureless space scene.
2. The second screen showed the supporting cast list, again over a featureless space scene. Actor names are proper case (capital first letters), character names are in lowercase- with one exception. Mission of the Darians uses proper case for both character and actor names.
3. Credits for music (Barry Gray), special effects (Brian Johnson) and production designer (Keith Wilson) appeared over a shot of an Eagle leaving a moon. The hemisphere of the cratered green moon appears top right, a small nebula bottom left. Over the nebula a small combat Eagle (illuminated green) travels left. |
4. A vertical bluish galaxy is centre left. A small star at the centre moves down. Credits for production manager, director of photography, casting director and, in some episodes, script editor, appear over. |
5. Another band of stars is top right, crossing the corner of the screen. Bisecting it is a comet, travelling "backwards" (but correctly in astronomical terms) in the direction of its tail into the top right corner. Over this appears credits for supervising editor (David Lane), camera operator, assistant director and sound recordist. |
6. A small white nebula appears upper right. Credits over for editor, sound and music editors, continuity and the credit to Rank Film Laboratories. |
7. The hemisphere of a large red cratered planet is in the top right corner. The strand of a nebula crosses the top of the screen, with various coloured stars around. Make up, hair designer and wardrobe credits appear, with the message "Filmed at Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire, England". |
8. Bottom left is the corner of a blue cratered moon. Near it are various small coloured worlds. Above the moon, a small Eagle (illuminated blue) travels to the top left. Under the title "Special Effects" appear the credits for director Nick Allder, lighting cameraman Harry Oakes, camera operator Frank Drake, electronics Michael S. E. Downing. |
