In the car park was Jim Winch's Shado jeep. This was one of 3 vehicles modified from a Mini Moke, with gull-wing doors and 6 wheels, for the 1968 film Doppelganger, and later used in the 1969 series UFO. This vehicle was transported to the Canary Islands for a film in the early 1970s, then abandoned in a Tenerife scrapyard for many years. Jim has fully restored it, making it road-worthy (he drove it for 6 hours on the motorway to the convention).
