The Continuity Guide
The Melpomene hat stand was designed by Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso (1908-2004), Enrico Peressutti (1908-1976) and Ernesto Nathan Rogers (1909-1969) for Artemide in Italy. The designers formed the renowned Milan architectural company BBPR in 1932. The hat-stand is in brown chromium-plated brass, and is 180cm tall with a 40cm diameter.
It is seen in living quarters in Year 2, infrequently as the Alphans didn't wear many hats. It is also in the Recreation Center and Solarium in The Taybor.
In The Immunity Syndrome, Zoran uses the hat-stand to hang his suit.
