Alpha Child

Scene 38
Shot of spaceship for "burn-in" for Big Screen

Alpha Child

Not used in the episode, but immediately after the above shot (scene 37). As Alan's Eagle approaches the ship, Koenig asks "What's holding up computer's analysis of the spaceship, Kano?" and looks at the screen.

Scene 40
Carter's P.O.V.
Alien spaceship hovering over Alpha with green lighted dome.

Alpha Child

The editor moves this shot earlier in the sequence.

Scene 43
Carter's Eagle moves in closer to alien spaceship

Alpha Child

Scene 50
Three more giant spaceships their green lights on move in formation towards camera

Alpha Child

This is a Big Screen shot. A different, more frontal, view is used.

Scene 50A
As 50 allow for green ray

Alpha Child

This is a shot later in the sequence when the ships fire stun beams at the Eagles.

Scene 51
Koenig's P.O.V. Three spaceships approaching Alpha lights pulsating

Not used. In the script, Jackie is on the Main Mission balcony, and Koenig and Helena approach him. In the episode, Jackie is standing under the stairs, and Koenig approaches him alone. This shot would have been used when Koenig looks out the balcony window.

Scene 53
Two spaceships looking down on Alpha

Not used. This scene doesn't make a lot of sense here, as the Eagles and spaceships have to have their battle in space first (see below). We see a similar shot later after the space battle, as the ships move over Alpha (see scene 72 below).

Scene 56
Similar to Sc.51 but with cockpit cut-out. Carter's P.O.V.

Alpha Child

Scene 59
The 3 Eagles fire laser beams

Alpha Child

Angle of the Eagles is moved; still right to left, but now rising across frame instead of descending. This helps distinguish the first part of the battle, as the Eagles approach, to the second, when the Eagles fly behind the ships.

Scene 68
Three spaceships transverse L-R

Alpha Child

Scene 68B
The three Eagles are hit
