Not used. This shot would occur before the commercial break (scene 74 is after). Screen shot is scene 101, a different version than the one used for scene 74 after the break.

This is the shot after the commercial break. There were only two models, one larger (1.8m) and one smaller (0.9m). This is a multiple exposure, with the large model foreground over camera, and the smaller model refilmed three times, on the left, right and centre (the Moonbase and the stars are separate multiple exposures).

Scene 76

Not used. Koenig talks to Helena in medical, and at one point Helena would look out the window to see the spaceship. The later sequence with the astronauts aiming at the ships above them (scene 88) uses an identical view.

Scene 79
As 72

The script specifies "Top shot. The four spaceships at the four compass quarters of Alpha", but this storyboard decides to recycle the earlier shot. In the episode they resurrect this view, but with only two ships. Foreground is the large model, the ship on the left is the small model. For this view it would be impossible to use multiple exposure.

In the original 19 June script, it states "Six more spaceships of identical design, head towards the Moon. Suddenly they change course." There is a big battle between the 3 remaining Jarak ships and the other 6. Two of the pursuer ships are destroyed, but the four remain and destroy the last Jarak ships.

The identical ships would have been confusing on screen. So in the blue page amendments of 1 August, there is a single "battle cruiser" which destroys all four Jarak ships.
