The This Episode sequences in the Year One Titles are an exciting montage of visual highlights. Occasionally alternate takes and cut scenes were included, providing a brief glimpse of what the episodes could have been.

In older prints (including the A&E and Carlton DVDs) the "This Episode" caption is on a black background (but not in the Network restored DVDs, which are blue). In other episodes it is against a blue background (in Breakaway the background is black, but the text is not capitalised). Thanks to Chris Dale.
