In the Powys books Ryan returns to Alpha with Bergman in Omega, speaking on behalf of the entity Misl. In Alpha a second Mike Ryan appears, representing the rival entity Goma. The second Ryan is older, a more physical replica of him, which allows him to be killed by an Arkadian.
