This is a good representation of the 44 inch studio model. The panel shading is good. The colour stripes is similar to studio model decoration, but a little less subtle. The Alpha Moonbase insignia is much more detailed than the studio model. The interior of the cages is dark grey, but it should be the same colour as the rest of the Eagle.
The box is 36 x 18 x 13 cm, with the back display card 36cm tall. All the variations except for the gift set had the same box art and text, all with the text "Eagle Transporter" (only the first is), and even including the copyright credit to Carlton (from 2005 the models themselves credit Granada Ventures).
The latch mechanism is simple and unobtrusive. All the die cast Eagles have the same mechanism. The winch and pallet versions have a hook which attaches to the spine, but the Eagle itself always has the latch slot.
