The first scenes were Koenig leaving the Eagle after finding Carter. He argues with Helena about the decontamination procedure. Helena finally releases him. The medical team passes him, and Koenig enters the travel tube. According to this call sheet, the Medical team is comprised of two nurses and an orderly. Only the uncredited male orderly and one nurse appears. The nurse, Cary Lee; she is seen later in the episode. A second nurse, played by Merdel Jordine, is listed here, but does not appear. Later we see Glenda Allen appearing as another nurse.

Merdel (sometimes "Merdelle") Jordine was a black actress and model born in 1947 in Jamaica, who came to the UK in 1956 (imdb, aveleyman). She appeared in Timeslip (1971), and many TV guest roles before a long-running role in Crossroads from 1979-1982. It is not known why she didn't appear, but perhaps the director decided that two medics passing the camera quickly was sufficient.

Collision Course

This is followed by many of the Eagle pilot section shots, with Nick Tate's shots to follow on day 2 of filming. The Eagle 10 pilot was played by Richard Gardner, who had just played a pilot in the previous episode, Voyager's Return

Collision Course

There is a make-up note for scene 68, as Koenig flies the reconnaissance Eagle 4 solo from the base to explore the planet. "Koenig's beard to shadow?" Landau does indeed have a faint five o'clock shadow in this shot, compared to earlier in the episode, suggesting Koenig's fatigue and stress.
