The Production GuideThursday 5th September was the 10th day of filming the episode; it would finish on schedule the next day, when the Main Mission shots were completed and the final scenes we filmed (Koenig in his quarters, and the fight with the two guards).
Barry Morse and the supporting cast arranged a drink (a "small magnetic surge") for Friday after filming (on Friday's call sheet they are called the "Magnificent Seven"). The call sheet also notes it's Linda's birthday- this was Linda Matthews, Sylvia Anderson's secretary.
The big scene, started on Wednesday, is 121, when Koenig and Alan appear in their pyjamas, and the fight. Two stunt men appear in front of camera. Vic Armstrong is holding Koenig with Kano. The Alphan who jumps from the balcony is Peter Pocock.
During the fight we can just glimpse the faces of some of the stunt doubles. This is Eddie Stacey as Koenig throwing Terry Walsh as Paul. The stunt arranger, Romo Gorrara, appears elsewhere in the episode, as one of the guards who fights Koenig outside his quarters.
In scene 123 they retreat in fear as the planet approaches.
In scenes 125-6 there are smoke and explosions, and the planet has disappeared.
Also listed are scenes 126, 127, 128 and 130. They didn't get to these scenes today, but filmed them on Friday. They were cut from the episode (see script and publicity photos).
