At the start of November, 1976, Dorzak began filming on the Moonbase sets on stage L, and in the alien spaceship on the North Tunnel stage. Normally Devil's Planet, being filmed at the same time, would have been shot on M stage, adjacent to L. However, Walt Disney Productions took over M stage to film scenes for the film One Of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing, and Devil's Planet was relocated to a smaller Pinewood stage, B, close to the studio offices. Dressing rooms, make-up and wardrobe were set up in the D, F and G office buildings alongside stage B. They would move to H Block on Thursday 11th November (when the unit was back on M stage).
Pinewood's B stage is 25m x 34m and was one of the four original stages from the 1930s. It would later be used for Gravity (2013)
They would return to M stage from Wednesday 10th November (day 7), to film the planet surface scenes.
Gerry Wain was "whip expert", supervising the guard's whips. Wain also worked as a horse master on several productions, including Carry on Dick (1974). From the following day, perhaps due to some misadventures, the call sheet included a stern warning: "Please remember that WHIPS are DANGEROUS. Do not handle or play with them please."
Actress Vilna Riley is mis-named here as Vilma Reilly.
Filming started in Elizia's reception chamber, with 4 days of shooting on that set from Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th November.

of the Zoom TV Block, adjacent to 'L' and 'M'.
