The Continuity GuideThis ball mirror appears in Matter of Life and Death in Care Unit 3, and is featured in a scene when Lee Russell looks at his reflection. In other episodes it is occasionally seen in Medical. Later it appears in The Taybor where the alien trader suggests it is "from the mystics high in the mountains of the planet Shand".

In Diagnostic Unit in Another Time, Another Place
In Missing Link it's in the Diagnostic Unit, again on the central shelf. There's a conventional flat mirror also, which reflects Raan's image.
It's in the Zoref's living quarters in Force Of Life, on a square Tessera 120 table.
Taybor has stuck some coloured spots around the white rim and removed the base. The Alphans are very keen to trade for them.
A 1970s vanity mirror of similar design, with a different base. The base is a separate bowl in which the ball sits. The ball itself opens into two halves, for storage. There is no brand marking. This one has a 14cm diameter ball, with 11cm diameter mirror. The base is a 10cm diameter bowl.
