The Mark 2 Eagle is the second 44 inch model

• First seen in The Last Sunset.
• In Space Brain, the ribbed Gemini attachment plates on the leg pods change from white to black. The first and last bar on top of spine has a red and black stripe (originally black, although the length varied). The framework behind the command module no longer has yellow and red stripes.
• Command module separates in Dragon's Domain (module rocket nozzles can still be seen in The Metamorph)
• In The Rules Of Luton the spine is repainted with new stripes, including red and black stripes on the front sloping bars.
• In Space Warp the spine stripes change again (on the front sloping bars, thicker black stripe between 2 red stripes).
• Bringers of Wonder adds a ring around the rear engines (like Eagle 1)
• By The Immunity Syndrome the spine stripes have changed again.
