This backdrop was mounted behind the windows of the Command office and Main Mission, and included the tops of Alphan buildings in front of lunar hills.
This backdrop was seen clearly in the dream sequences in Catacombs Of The Moon
It also appears (briefly) in The Seance Spectre, when Koenig leaves the Eagle door.
In Black Sun and Ring Around The Moon we see astronauts with the buildings painted on a backdrop, and a full sized forcefield tower. It was not used in other episodes.

It was also used for the set of photos of Landau and Bain posing with a moonbuggy, photographed by Curt Gunther. This is the Black Sun version of the set, probably before filming. The buildings in some of these shots are featureless, perhaps before they had been completed, but others show bright windows (probably reflective material, as used on the SFX models).
