In most of Year 2, we only see variations of one design of Medical Center. In one episode, The Bringers Of Wonder part 1, we see a medical room with a different design. In the script this is scene 98, "section of medical center". We only see two walls, but it's a revamp of an existing set, the living quarters. Most hospitals have a secure unit for disturbed patients, which Sandstrom certainly is, so we have designated it the secure unit, although, perhaps under alien influence, the only security measures are two inadequate straps.
The actual Living Quarters set was a little different than the original Keith Wilson plan (see here).
In the Bringers medical set we only see two of the four walls on screen, so not all details of this room can be confirmed. It is very likely that the unseen walls remained as they were in the Living Quarters set. Below is another altered plan reflecting the changes from the Living Quarters.
Interestingly, this room features green-lighted panels instead of the usual blue seen in most medical rooms throughout Series 1 and 2. Green lighting was only used in Autopsy.
The open cupboards of the living quarters set are in place, with nurse's uniforms. There's one medical computer wall added to the set, replacing the wall communications screens. The individual panels of the medical computer are sticking out a little, and not aligned very well. This was a "spare" wall panel, and seems to have suffered a bit during movement.
This wall panel is Koenig's in The Beta Cloud. In The Lambda Factor, it's in the third bed position.
We can just see a second bed on the edge of frame left. There is no computer wall behind it, and indeed it is positioned inbetween two wall panels. Alongside is a desk, sometimes seen in living quarters or Weapons Center, which will later be used in Helena in Medical in The Immunity Syndrome. Standing on the desk are Helena's Revell visible man model, and a white Tatu lamp.
