The US menus are comparatively static, but okay if you can forgive the fluorescent colours. Others have invested much imagination and effort in transitions and submenus. Carlton in the UK set the pace with CGI recreations of Moonbase corridors, episode clips and series music. Most have followed the same lead. TF1 in France also has some nice effects with episode clips. The Italian discs feature superb and very accurate transitions through Alpha corridors and travel tubes.
