Of the actors from the Eagle One medical team, 4 never appear as cave-people: co-pilot Colin Rix, orderly Chris Williams and nurses Kathy Mallory and Glenda Allen. Only guard Tony Allyn appears as a caveman. There are two Alphans regularly seen in Main Mission who must have been part of the first Eagle mission, Andy Dempsey and Sarah Bullen. Dempsey is seen behind Helena, along with Williams, when they emerge from the mist.
The cave people who we never see as Alphans include guest star Oliver Cotton, Jeffrey Taylor, Anthony Powell, Tony Boyd, Lisa Woods and Jacqueline Blackmore.

When the rescue team go into the mist, one person is different. This shot was filmed on 'M' stage on 1st October 1974; the scenes in the forest had been filmed on Friday 27th September and Monday 30th September, and it seems one cast member was not available. Nurse Glenda Allen has been replaced by another nurse, Lynda Westover in a dark wig. She too will become a cavewoman.
