Space: 1999 Super Space Theatre Collectors Edition

This is "Volume 2", following Anderson Entertainment's Volume 1 (the Thunderbirds super space theater movies).

This is a re-issue of the Network 2022 Super Space Theater blu-ray, minus Spazio 1999 (substituted with a "new" compilation, Prisoners in Space).

Movie versions

The four ITC movies are the same two versions as Network, both versions created in 2022:

• original 4:3 TV format with original soundtrack (it is nevertheless an HD recreation of the 1980s movies)
• 16:9 widescreen, using an episode soundtrack and altered SFX scenes.

Three of the films have un-restored "original" versions. All these have been previously released on European DVDs, eg Italy 2007, Germany 2016 (these were actually restored, we do not know if they are using these versions or earlier un-restored versions).

• Destination Moonbase Alpha: from a 35mm print
• Journey Through The Black Sun, Cosmic Princess "VHS versions".

Extras

Other extras (most of which have appeared many times on both episode DVD/Blu-ray sets and even on VHS)

• Trailers (all are HD recreations for Network)
• The Spazio 1999 Ennio Morricone soundtrack
• The Return of Victor Bergman - short fan film from 2010, previously on YouTube. Upscaled, presumably removing the copyrighted music and re-editing.
• The Super Space Theatre story new documentary

Physical extras include:

• The publicity photo looks like an outer sleeve with a inner Blu-ray case.
  • Outer sleeve art is compilation of elements: Maya from Cosmic Princess poster, Helena from Destination Moonbase Alpha, Koenig from Alien Attack
  • Inner case art is from the Alien Attack 1986 VHS CBS Fox release
• Blu-ray discs use the original poster art (Prisoners in Space uses Spazio 1999 art)
• 4 Reproduction movie posters. As appeared in Gerry Anderson's Super Space Theater by Chris Drake (Fanderson, 2019)
• 12 Reproduction lobby cards. Not a complete set for all movies. These have been pictured in the Network booklet and other media before.
