Tampa and St. Petersburg, Florida

The first series was shown on the NBC affiliate, WFLA TV (Channel 8), with the first show on Friday, and following shows on Monday evening. To promote the series, Rudi Gernreich's moonbase uniforms were on display in a Tampa shopping mall. 44 buses in Tampa and St. Petersburg had 12-foot signs advertising the series. They also had an Outer Space Guide wheel-spinner giveaway. See local press.

Repeats started to appear during December. The last new episode was in February, but episodes continued until August, when the most episodes were on their second repeat.

The broadcast tapes from ITC were forwarded to WTVJ-TV in Miami, which would show the same episodes about 2 weeks later.

The channel didn't pick up Year Two; instead, it appeared on the independent station WTOG TV (Channel 44).
