Breakaway was repeated immediately after The Dorcons, ending the Year Two run. After the first few episodes, an additional episode appeared on Wednesdays and Sundays became a double-bill, and the following week a fourth episode appeared on Fridays. The Wednesday episode was dropped after a while, but the entire run was over in 8 weeks and went straight into a repeat of Year 2. This came to an abrupt halt, missing Friday 30th March and Sunday 1st April with just one episode on 8th April (as "Part of Sci-Fi Weekend").

After a 3 week break Year 2 is abandoned mid-season, and a Year 1 episode appears in a half hour slot. Then after a 2 week break, another Year Two episode, and then the series disappears.

Year One And Two

Year One reappears in September 2007. Generally there is an episode on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. At the end of December, the Saturday episode starts to repeat Friday's episode (and, after holiday films caused a skipped week, another series run re-starts in parallel on Mondays). In February 2008 the first double-repeat on Saturday appeared (once on Friday, and twice on a Saturday), often with episodes on Sunday, Monday and Friday, up to 5 a week. This then changed to Sunday, Monday and two episodes on Wednesday. Late night episodes were shown with on-screen signing for the hard-of-hearing.
